Job description

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join an integration project related to the merger of two companies.

The role will focus on developing and aligning reporting and analytics solutions across the two organisations, supporting the integration of data, reporting structures and business requirements into a consistent Power BI environment.

Start: November 2026

Engagement: B2B

Model: Mostly remote

Duration: initially 3–6 months, with possibility of longer extension

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
• Translate business requirements into scalable reporting and analytical solutions
• Support the integration and harmonisation of reporting across two merging organisations
• Work with multiple data sources and ensure consistency and quality of reporting data
• Build and optimise data models, measures and calculations
• Develop solutions using Power Query and DAX
• Analyse existing reports and identify opportunities for consolidation or improvement
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data teams and other technical teams involved in the integration programme
• Troubleshoot performance and data-quality issues
• Support the transition towards a common reporting landscape

Required experience

• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power BI
• Very good knowledge of DAX, Power Query and data modelling
• Experience connecting Power BI to multiple data sources
• Good understanding of data transformation and reporting architecture
• Experience working with complex business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic project environment
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with international stakeholders

Nice to have

• Previous experience in large‑scale integration programmes
• Experience consolidating reporting environments from different organisations
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure / Fabric / SQL or related Microsoft data technologies
• Experience working in large international organisations
