Job summary

Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Physics, seeks a research assistant professor to advance superfluid dynamics in Fermi systems with dissipation and fluctuations. The project develops a real-time microscopic framework based on density functional theory, for ultracold atomic and nuclear systems, with HPC emphasis.

The candidate will contribute to the W-SLDA Toolkit, integrate temperature effects, and collaborate with international partners in the USA and Japan.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree, or foreign equivalent, with a strong publication record in condensed matter or nuclear theory.
• Knowledge of many-body quantum mechanics is required.
• Programming skills in C or Fortran and Python are essential.

Responsibilities

• Investigate superfluid dynamics in Fermi systems with dissipation and fluctuations.
• Develop a microscopic framework for real-time dynamics including temperature effects using density functional theory concepts.
• Apply methods to ultracold atomic or nuclear systems and extend open-source W-SLDA Toolkit for simulations.
• Collaborate with partners from the USA and Japan.
