The Optoelectronics Division of the Institute of Microelectronics and Optoelectronics, Warsaw University of Technology is seeking a Post-Doc to implement the project on Photonics Integrated Circuits for Free Space Optical Communications (FSOC). The candidate will design, test, and optimize optical communication components for free-space links and prepare technical documentation and publications.

Qualifications

Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Photonics, Optics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Ph.D. must be completed by the start date of the postdoctoral position.
Practical knowledge of measurement techniques for photonic structures, devices, and systems operating in the near- and mid-infrared spectral ranges.

Responsibilities

Design, development, construction and testing of components and systems parameters for optical communication in free space.
Development of measurement systems, data acquisition, development of measurement results.
Preparation of presentations, reports, scientific publications, conference presentations.
Preparation of technical specifications for purchases of materials and equipment.
