Job summary

Dev.Pro seeks an Intermediate Test Engineer to join our Manual QA team in Wroclaw. This contractor role requires daily attendance in our testing lab and focuses on validating the quality of a POS platform used by retail and restaurant businesses globally.

You will work with colleagues across the US and Europe to ensure reliability, stability, and usability of complex software and hardware solutions, using hands-on manual testing across web, desktop, and mobile environments.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of experience in software testing focused on manual testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and SDLC/STLC.
• Hands-on experience testing web applications.
• Practical experience with REST API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Experience creating, executing, and maintaining test cases and documentation.
• Strong understanding of defect management, bug life cycle, and bug types.
• Hands-on experience with Jira.
• Intermediate+ English level for daily communication with global teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual testing of POS applications across web, Windows, Android, and iOS platforms.
• Perform REST API testing and validate system integrations.
• Test POS hardware and peripherals, including terminals, scanners, printers, and other connected devices.
• Verify new features, enhancements, and bug fixes to ensure reliable performance.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Create, maintain, and update test cases, test plans, and other QA documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality throughout the entire SDLC.
