  • Gather information, write reports and submit them for investigations or for medical or hazardous conditions; maintain daily logs, incident cards and required forms.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Police Officer – Franklin & Marshall College

Franklin & Marshall College is recruiting a full‑time Public Safety Police Officer to maintain a safe and secure campus environment.

Job Details
  • Location: Lancaster, PA
  • Classification: Full‑time, Non‑Exempt
  • Schedule: 12‑hour shifts (6:00 AM‑6:00 PM or 6:00 PM‑6:00 AM) with every other weekend off
  • Reports to: Public Safety Police Sergeant
  • Department: Public Safety
  • Hourly Rate: $24.00 + $1.50/night shift differential
Responsibilities
  • Patrol College properties, surrounding areas, and neighborhoods by foot, bike or vehicle to identify and prevent incidents.
  • Respond to emergencies and non‑emergencies in a timely manner, determine appropriate action, and notify appropriate officials or community members; provide first aid or call for medical services as needed.
  • Gather information, write reports and submit them for investigations or for medical or hazardous conditions; maintain daily logs, incident cards and required forms.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
