Job summary

Viking EMEA is launching warehouse operations in Poland and seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee daily activities in Katowice. You will manage a 3-person team, ensure inventory accuracy, and uphold safety and quality standards.

The role reports to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager in Luxembourg, with initial training abroad. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in warehouse management, knowledge of import/export, inventory control, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in warehouse management.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Knowledge of import/export and customs.
• Good inventory management and stock control.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• MS Office and SAP knowledge advantageous.
• Fluent English and native Polish.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations from receipt to dispatch.
• Lead, motivate, and support a team of 3 warehouse workers.
• Plan and prioritize workloads to meet targets.
• Coordinate receipt, storage and dispatch of goods.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct stock checks.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Document goods movements accurately.
• Manage import declarations and liaise with Polish customs.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with internal departments and transport providers.
