Job summary

Nscale is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to own the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. This role sits at the heart of the Finance function, ensuring that all transactional data is recorded, reconciled, and reported in accordance with accounting standards.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Corporate Holdings Month end close & Reconciliations, you will maintain the general ledger, manage month-end close, and provide reliable data to support decision-making across the business.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of accounting experience, with month-end close.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• Knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP/UK GAAP is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
• Experience in a high-growth/start-up environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Maintain internal controls over financial reporting and processes.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and variance analyses.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable/Receivable and support audit activities.
• Document GL procedures and assist with system improvements.
