Job summary

Tanium is seeking a hands-on Software Engineer for Platform & Infrastructure in Kraków. You will own internal Kubernetes-based environment management, VM provisioning, and CI/CD pipelines that drive daily engineering and QA workflows across the organization.

You will work closely with QA, platform, and developer-experience teams to keep systems reliable, observable, and easy to use. Strong Go and TypeScript/Node.js production skills plus Kubernetes experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering, focused on platform or infra engineering.
• Strong Go and TypeScript/Node.js production skills.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience including clusters and networking.
• Experience with VM image creation and OS provisioning (Packer).

Responsibilities

• Build Systems, DevOps, and CI/CD tooling.
• Automate dependencies and share tooling across engineering.
• Operate and extend CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for cross-platform builds.
• Improve platform reliability and observability.
• Collaborate with QA and developer experience teams.
• Own VM template build pipeline and lab infrastructure.
