Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, maths, physics, or a related field.
• Production fluency in Java or willingness to work primarily in Java; experience with Kotlin/Scala/Python/Go is a plus.
• Proven track record building core systems or foundational platforms.
• Experience with distributed systems at scale and strong teamwork.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Building and scaling core backend systems for the platform.
• Writing high-throughput, concurrent code at production scale.
• Collaborating with multiple engineering teams on cross-cutting problems.
