Job summary

Qualifications

OANDA is a global online trading group and a financial technology company that provides exchange rate information and online trading services. Its Platform Engineering team delivers infrastructure for reliable applications across on-premise and cloud environments.

Задачи

• Design and configure hybrid network solutions, including hardware and software load balancers, firewalls, interconnectivity, and routing between production environments;
• Design, build, and operate cloud and on-premise environments using Infrastructure as Code;
• Automate system administration of VMWare, Linux, and Windows servers and virtual hosts;
• Deploy distributed observability and monitoring tools to measure service levels and improve system performance and availability;
• Respond to and resolve production incidents;
• Contribute detailed feedback to the postmortem process and translate event learnings into infrastructure and application improvements;
• Work on cross-functional teams to research and deploy products and technologies that improve velocity, reliability, and performance.

Требования

• 4+ Years of hands-on experience in Platform Engineering;
• Experience with Terraform;
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform;
• Experience with Ansible;
• Experience with Kubernetes;
• Experience with the Prometheus stack;
• Nice to have: scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell, Mimir, Splunk, Loki, Grafana, Cloudflare, and general networking.
