Job summary

Capital on Tap is seeking a Platform Engineer to migrate code repositories from Azure DevOps to GitHub and retool CI/CD pipelines. You will rework Jira integrations to connect GitHub PRs, ensure AI agents migrate, and migrate ancillary services for security and governance.

Remote Poland-based contract with cross-team collaboration is expected. The role requires 3+ years in DevOps/Platform Engineering, strong GitHub/Azure experience, and Terraform with cloud knowledge in Azure/AWS/GCP.

Qualifications

At least 3+ years in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles, with hands-on Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise.
Proven track record migrating CI/CD from Azure DevOps to GitHub.
Experience converting Azure Pipelines to GitHub Actions with workflows.
Secure secrets migration with GitHub Actions secrets and OIDC federation.
Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Go) to automate migrations.
Experience reconfiguring Slack, Jira and code quality/security tools and GitHub Apps.
Familiarity with AI agents and automation in the delivery lifecycle.
IaC with Terraform and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
Strong planning, phased migration, rollback plans.
Clear communicator able to document new ways of working.

Responsibilities

Migrate existing estate of code repositories from ADO to GitHub.
Migrate associated test and build pipelines.
Rework current Jira integration to link GitHub PRs to Jira work items.
Ensure AI integrations and agents migrate and function.
Rework and migrate ancillary services for build, governance, security and secrets management.
Partner and communicate with stakeholders about technical learnings.
