Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Plant Finance Controller with at least 3 years' experience, eager to grow in a newly created role covering the German region. You'll support product costing, month-end closes, and inventory valuation while partnering with operations and group teams. Fluent German and good knowledge of English are a must.

Description

• Lead product cost analysis and provide actionable recommendations to Operations and Manufacturing.
• Prepare and interpret monthly/quarterly reports in line with group standards; support period closes and variance explanations.
• Run periodic product cost calculations (incl. HPCS standards) and explain cost movements.
• Perform monthly inventory valuation; maintain accurate controlling master data and carry out regular data-quality checks (e.g., error logs review).
• Partner closely with local production controlling and the global controlling team - deliver reliable datasets, simulations, and decision support.
• Contribute to global production controlling initiatives: group reporting, reference/master data, standardization, and data quality.

Profile

• University degree (technical or master's) in finance/economics/engineering or a related field.
• 2-4 years of controlling experience, including hands-on product costing.
• Comfortable collaborating within distributed/remote teams.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP and Business Warehouse.
• English at B2 level and German at C1.
