Job summary

Batgroup is seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our Warsaw-based engineering team (hybrid) and help build the platforms behind Batmaid and PFA. You will design, develop, test, and maintain PHP applications and backend services used by customers and cleaning teams, collaborating with product, data, and operations.

We embrace AI-assisted development to accelerate routine tasks while maintaining clean architecture, high-quality code, and strong judgment.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on PHP experience.
• Clear, understandable, maintainable code with tests.
• Strong knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and SOLID.
• Working knowledge of Symfony and Git.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain dynamic web applications and backend services in PHP and Symfony.
• Write clear, well-tested, maintainable code, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Apply SOLID principles and sound object-oriented design to keep systems clean as they scale.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into working software.
• Use AI-assisted development thoughtfully to raise speed and quality of delivery.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and elevate engineering standards.
