Job summary

National Medicines Institute in Poland seeks a Postdoctoral Researcher in Pharmacological sciences – Pharmacy to conduct advanced analytical research in pharmaceutical analysis. The role covers literature reviews, method development, and the interpretation of XRPD diffractograms and IR data.

You will publish findings, present at conferences, and contribute to training sessions while maintaining QA in line with ISO-17025:2018. English and Polish required; full-time, on-site position in Warsaw.

Qualifications

• PhD in pharmaceutical or chemical sciences required.
• Very good knowledge of XRPD and IR methods.
• Certified trainings in analytical methods.
• At least 5 publications in IF journals.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2018 and ICH guidelines.
• Excellent Polish, fluent reading and writing; good English.
• Ability to perform tests and interpret results in pharmaceutical analysis.
• Experience leading research projects and teaching instrumental analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research within ongoing projects including literature reviews and method development.
• Analyze crystallographic data from CSD database.
• Disseminate results via publications and conferences.
• Train on XRPD and IR techniques.
• Test medicinal products and medical devices using XRPD, UV-VIS, IR, HPLC and dissolution testing.
• Prepare test reports and expert opinions for authorities.
• Ensure work complies with ISO-17025:2018 and QM principles.
