Job description

SkyePoint Decisions is a leading Cybersecurity Architecture and Engineering provider headquartered in Dulles, Virginia, serving federal government clients across the U.S. We combine technical expertise and mission awareness to deliver enterprise‑wide cybersecurity solutions efficiently and securely.

This is a remote, contingent position based on contract win. The role supports the Department of Education’s Federal Student Aid Cybersecurity and Privacy Support Services in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and lead red team and penetration testing engagements across FSA systems.
• Oversee planning, execution, and reporting of testing activities.
• Maintain tools, patches, and upgrades used in penetration testing and Red Team exercises.
• Ensure alignment with NIST SP 800-115, MITRE ATT&CK, and DHS RVA standards.
• Mentor junior testers and evaluate new testing tools.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience in offensive security.
• Active Secret level clearance.
• At least one of the following certifications: OSCP, OSCE, GXPN, CEH.
• Experience with network, application, AWS cloud, and API testing in complex environments.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Compensation

Salary Range: $130,000‑$160,000. The range is a general guideline and may vary based on location, experience, and contractual considerations.
