With nearly 100,000 employees around the world, we shape the energy systems of today and tomorrow.

In this role, you will design and develop advanced PCB solutions for demanding power electronic applications, from schematic and layout creation through testing and validation. You will work closely with engineering teams, suppliers, and technology partners to optimize performance in areas such as high voltage, thermal management, and EMC. Your day will also involve hands‑on laboratory work, troubleshooting, and creating the technical documentation needed to support successful product deployment.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Develop PCBs in Schematic and Layout (placement, routing, stack, manufacturability)
  • Define and implement PCB design guidelines for high-voltage, high-current, thermally demanding, and EMC‑critical applications
  • Integrate high performance PCB elements as Inlay-board, heavy copper, Multilayer
  • Select electrical components and build and maintain component libraries
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the development process
  • Manage testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation, and create technical documentation and training materials
What You Bring
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
  • Professional experience in development and production of PCB based (power) electronic components / systems
  • Experience in standards, guidelines and procedures in respect to PCB Development
  • Special knowledge: Boundary conditions for PCB (power, voltage, current, temperature); future technologies (e.g. embedding, high-power integration); connection technology (high power, manufacturability, multi‑layer PCB stack)
  • Experience with laboratory measurement equipment (function generator, Oscilloscope, high performance probes, Impedance analyzer)
  • Know how for: Power Loop design, accurate measurement in harsh environments (close to power loop)
