Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a GIS installation specialist to implement projects at diverse locations, often abroad, contributing to sustainable energy solutions. The role emphasizes hands-on assembly, troubleshooting, and strict safety standards.

You will work with project teams to ensure timely execution, perform inspections, and provide technical support to local teams and clients. Extensive travel (80–90%) and fluency in English are required.

• Conduct on-site mechanical and electrical assembly and troubleshooting of GIS equipment, ensuring a practical, hands‑on approach to problem‑solving.
• Prioritize health and safety by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and efficient project execution, contributing to the electrification of communities and industries while maintaining high safety standards.
• Perform inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, while aligning with our sustainability goal, and provide technical support and training to local teams and clients, empowering them to adopt and implement our innovative solutions safely and effectively.
• Document findings, prepare reports, and communicate effectively with stakeholders including project teams, customers and partners.
• Adapt to various working conditions and cultures while maintaining a positive attitude and a strong commitment to health and safety practices.

What You Bring

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a hands‑on approach to engineering challenges.
• Willingness to travel extensively, with availability for travel abroad 80-90% of the time.
• Fluency in English, with outstanding communication skills, is essential.
• A proactive attitude and a passion for learning and professional growth.
