Job summary

Bosch in Poland offers an internship in software development designed to turn university knowledge into hands-on experience within a global organization. You’ll work with an international development team in an Agile environment, contributing to core internal applications and learning the full software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Currently a 2nd–4th year student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT-related field.
• Available for approximately 30 hours per week.
• Proficient in Java, including Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST, and APIs.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience with unit testing using JUnit, JUnit Jupiter, Mockito.
• Basic understanding of Git and Git Flow.
• Knowledge of SOLID, Clean Code, and TDD.
• Proactive and motivated to learn; takes initiative.
• Enjoy collaborating in a virtual, international team.
• Good command of Polish and English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, improve, and extend the existing software stack by developing new functionalities.
• Participate in the end-to-end software development lifecycle from requirements to testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with developers, process experts, architects, and technical experts responsible for connected systems.
• Take part in code reviews and learn best practices from experienced team members.
• Contribute to writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Work as part of an international and virtual development team using Agile methodologies.

During your internship, you’ll work alongside experienced developers, architects, and process experts in an Agile environment. • have a basic understanding of Git and Git Flow.
• are familiar with software development principles and practices such as SOLID, Clean Code, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• are proactive, motivated to learn, and comfortable taking initiative.
• enjoy collaborating with different experts in a virtual, international team.
• have a good command both of Polish and English.
• approach problems with an end-to-end mindset and are curious about how different parts of a solution work together.
