Job summary

Bosch Group invites a rising software developer to join an international development team in Warsaw for hands-on experience with our core internal applications.

You will work alongside experienced developers in an Agile environment, gaining exposure to the full software lifecycle and contributing to real tasks used across Bosch. A strong emphasis on Java, Spring Boot, and clean coding practices will be part of daily work.

Qualifications

• 2nd–4th year student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT-related field
• Available for approximately 30 hours per week
• Proficient in Java, incl. Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST, and APIs
• Familiar with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
• Familiar with unit testing and tools (JUnit, JUnit Jupiter, Mockito)
• Basic understanding of Git and Git Flow
• Familiar with SOLID, Clean Code, and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Proactive, eager to learn, and capable of working in an international virtual team
• Good command of Polish and English
• End-to-end mindset and curiosity about how parts fit together

Responsibilities

• Maintain, improve, and extend the existing software stack with new functionalities.
• Participate in the end-to-end software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and process experts on connected systems.
• Take part in code reviews and learn software development best practices.
• Contribute to writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Work as part of an international, virtual team using Agile methodologies.

Would you like to turn your university knowledge into hands-on experience and see how software is developed in a global organization? Join our international development team and contribute to one of Bosch's core internal applications.

During your internship, you'll work alongside experienced developers, architects, and process experts in an Agile environment. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to real development tasks, learn the entire software development lifecycle, and see your work become part of solutions used within Bosch.

• are currently a 2nd-4th year student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another IT-related field.

• have practical knowledge of Java, including technologies such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, web services, REST, and APIs.
• have basic knowledge of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• are familiar with unit testing and tools such as JUnit, JUnit Jupiter, and Mockito.
• have a basic understanding of Git and Git Flow.
• are familiar with software development principles and practices such as SOLID, Clean Code, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• are proactive, motivated to learn, and comfortable taking initiative.
• enjoy collaborating with different experts in a virtual, international team.
• have a good command both ofPolish andEnglish.
• approach problems with an end-to-end mindset and are curious about how different parts of a solution work together.
