Job summary

BlackCube Labs in Warsaw (3 days a week in the office) is looking for a Python Robot Framework Automation Engineer to strengthen our payments testing team on a B2B/Sub Con basis.

You will design and implement automated tests, validate REST APIs, and contribute to CI/CD automation across microservices. Strong SQL skills and experience with test management tools are desirable.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of software testing experience in the Payments domain.
• Mandatory Python knowledge; Robot Framework is a plus.
• Hands-on with automation using Robot Framework or Selenium.
• Experience with REST API automation and strong SQL skills.
• Familiar with qTest, CI/CD tooling, and ISTQB Foundation Level.

Responsibilities

• Execute tests and report defects.
• Perform root cause analysis for each release.
• Design, develop and maintain test automation frameworks; publish reports.

Role: Python Robot Framework Automation Engineer

Location: Warsaw/Gdansk (3days a week to office)

Hiring: B2B/Sub Con

• 8-10 years of experience in software testing primarily within the Payments domain in Banking
• Mandatory experience in Python knowledge of Robot Framework is an added advantage
• Handson experience with automation testing frameworks such as Robot Framework or Selenium
• Experience with REST API automation is preferred
• Strong SQL skills with practical database testing experience
• Experience working with test management tools such as qTest
• General testing knowledge equivalent to ISTQB Foundation Level
• Experience with CICD tools including Version Control GitTortoiseGit and deployment tools Jenkins
• Exposure to Microservices architecture
• Domain knowledge in Cards or Financial Services is preferred
• Good to have experience with Mainframe technologies Kafka Grafana and Splunk
• Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments
