Job summary

Aptiv is hiring an OTC Cash Application Analyst in Kraków to ensure timely allocation of customer payments within the Order-to-Cash cycle. You will resolve unapplied cash and collaborate with Finance, Collections, Billing, and IT teams.

Role requires 1+ year in OTC/AR, SAP or ERP experience, and strong English communication. The company offers hybrid work, private health care, pension plan, and wellbeing programs.

Job description

Join us as an OTC Cash Application Analyst and become part of a team responsible for ensuring accurate and timely allocation of customer payments within the Order-to-Cash process. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies, reconcile accounts, and minimize unapplied cash while supporting efficient and compliant financial operations.

Your Role:

Process and accurately allocate customer payments at invoice level. Investigate and resolve unapplied, partially applied, and unidentified cash. Collect and analyze remittance information from customers and internal sources. Perform customer account and clearing account reconciliations. Manage aged unapplied cash and identify root causes of recurring issues. Execute account clearing, transfers, adjustments, and approved write-offs. Support month-end activities, reporting, audits, and internal controls. Collaborate with Collection, Billing, Finance, and IT teams and contribute to process improvements and automation.

Your Background:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent experience. 1+ year of experience in OTC, Cash Application, Collections, or Accounts Receivable. Experience with customer payments, remittance processing, and unapplied cash resolution. Good understanding of OTC and Accounts Receivable processes. Good knowledge of SAP or another ERP system and experience with banking platforms/customer portals. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail. Very good English and strong communication skills.
