Haleon is seeking an OT Cyber Security Engineer in Poland to design, deploy, and maintain OT security solutions across IT/OT environments, with emphasis on Claroty and Cisco platforms. You will lead implementation efforts, provide day-to-day engineering support, and collaborate with product managers and architects to meet security and operational requirements.

The role requires hands-on OT/ICS security experience, strong scripting and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work with OT

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on engineering in OT or ICS security.
• CISSP, CISM, GICSP or IEC 62443 certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Claroty and Cisco industrial security solutions, OT protocols, and secure IT/OT architectures.
• Ability to translate solution designs into practical, maintainable engineering deliverables in industrial settings.
• Stakeholder management and communication with OT operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, configure, integrate, and optimize OT cybersecurity solutions with Claroty and Cisco technologies.
• Lead deployment of OT security capabilities across IT/OT environments.
• Provide BAU engineering support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of OT security platforms.
• Collaborate with OT Product Manager, Solution Architects, and delivery teams to ensure effective implementations.
• Develop and maintain technical standards, baselines, and automation scripts for OT security systems.
• Lead vulnerability remediation, patching, and security hardening for OT platforms.
• Support incident response and root cause analysis for OT systems.
• Mentor junior engineers on OT security best practices.
• Monitor performance, availability, and drive automation improvements.
• Contribute to evaluation of new OT security tools and enhancements.

Role overview: The OT Cyber Security Engineer is a technical engineering role responsible for the expert design, implementation, optimisation, and ongoing support of the organisation’s Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity solutions. This position provides deep technical expertise to ensure the effective delivery, integration, and BAU operation of OT security capabilities across industrial control systems, including ITS, SCADA, DCS, and IIoT. The role works closely with architecture and engineering teams to translate solution designs into robust, secure, and maintainable OT systems, with particular focus on Claroty and Cisco technologies.

Key Responsibilities Act as the subject matter expert for the design, build, configuration, integration, and optimisation of Operational Technology cybersecurity solutions, with deep expertise in Claroty and Cisco industrial security technologies Lead the technical implementation and deployment of new OT security capabilities and enhancements across IT/OT environments Provide expert engineering support for the day-to-day BAU operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of OT security platforms Collaborate with the Operational Technology Product Manager, Solution Architects, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are implemented effectively and meet business, operational, and security requirements Develop and maintain technical standards, configuration baselines, automation scripts, and operational procedures for OT security systems Lead vulnerability remediation, patching, and security hardening activities for OT cybersecurity platforms and connected industrial assets Support incident response and problem management activities related to OT systems, including root cause analysis and permanent fixes, while minimising impact on operational continuity Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and team members on OT security technologies and best practices Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity of OT security tooling, and drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives Contribute to the evaluation and selection of new OT security tools or enhancements within the operational technology domain

Your profile Required: +3 years of hands‑on engineering experience in operational technology or industrial control system security CISSP, CISM, GICSP, IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert or equivalent certification preferred Technical knowledge of Claroty or/and Cisco industrial security solutions, OT protocols, and secure IT/OT architectures Engineering and implementation skills, including configuration, integration, scripting, and troubleshooting in OT environments Problem‑solving and analytical abilities with a strong focus on operational stability, safety, and security Ability to translate solution designs into practical, maintainable engineering deliverables in industrial settings Stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with OT operations teams Sound understanding of how OT cybersecurity supports operational continuity and risk reduction Up‑to‑date knowledge of current and emerging OT‑specific cyber threats and defensive technologies

Preferred: Hands‑on expertise with Claroty platforms for OT asset visibility, exposure management, and network protection, and Cisco industrial networking and security solutions Experience in OT protocols, segmentation, Purdue Model implementation, and IT/OT convergence environments Proven track record in implementing and supporting complex OT security solutions in industrial, large‑scale, or critical infrastructure settings Experience with scripting and automation relevant to OT environments Knowledge of relevant OT standards and regulations (e.g., IEC 62443, NIS Regulations, GDPR)
