Job summary

The Rector of Medical University of Gdańsk announces an open competition for the position of Assistant in the Department of Organic Chemistry (f/m). Tasks include conducting and documenting research, disseminating results, and delivering practical classes.

Required: master’s degree (pharmacy, chemistry or biotechnology), aptitude for research and teaching, knowledge of organic synthesis, English at least B2, and Polish to lecture.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in pharmacy, chemistry or biotechnology.
• Knowledge of organic synthesis methods.
• English at least B2 level.
• Polish sufficient to deliver lectures.
• Willingness to teach and conduct research.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document research activities and disseminate results.
• Conduct and document didactic classes, mainly practical (seminars, labs, exercises).
• Participate in organizational work for the University and unit.
• Improve qualifications through trainings and conferences.
