Job summary

EY GDS Poland invites you to join as an EIS Manager in Insurance Consulting. You will participate in Insurance platform implementations, collaborate with agile teams, and drive R&D oriented enhancements while working on international projects with leading industry players.

You will lead technical streams, mentor teams, and coordinate with onsite coordinators, with readiness to travel to client locations. Join a global EY environment focusing on advanced data technologies and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Science or equivalent technical qualification.
• 9+ years in a corporate IT environment in similar positions.

The opportunity

As EIS Manager in Insurance Consulting you will participate in various streams ofInsurance platform implementation projects,collaborate with agile team members in order to achieve project and client goals and be a part of Business Insurance Transformations. We are looking for a passionate developers willing to move our projects on the new track! You will use the most advanced technology stack and have an opportunity to implement new solutions while working with top leaders in their industries. As a part of our global team you will participate in international projects based on latest data technologies and cloud platforms.

Your key responsibilities

• Need to work as a Technical Lead to contribute in various technical streams of EIS implementation projects.
• Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators.
• Planning and monitoring of the project deliverables from the team.
• Mentor the project team in executing the identified projects.
• Willing to travel to the customers locations on need basis.
• Participating in the organization-wide people initiatives.
• EIS Consulting implementation projects with a focus on developing new solutions and expanding system functionalities within the scope of R&D activities.
• Cooperating with R&D teams to identify and implement best practices and new EIS technologies/solutions that may enhance the efficiency of business processes.
• Reporting the progress of R&D projects and documenting the results of implementations, as well as post-implementation review
• Designing, testing, and implementing new EIS solutions/modules - conducting workshops, pilots, proof-of-concept initiatives, and deploying new or improved system features.

Skills and attributes for success

• BE/B.Tech/MCA/MSc.
• Must have hands-on experience in Insurance - Policy Core / Billing Core / Claims Core / Customer Core.
• Must have experience in core technical skills: Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Spring boot Microservices Web Service (Rest & SOAP), Apache Camel - CXF, Kafka.
• Experience in Insurance domain - Property & Casualty.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Science, other Technical qualification.
• 9+ years in a corporate IT environment in a similar positions.
• Excellent business communication skills.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience in OpenL Tablets.Knowledge of Vue.js.
• Certificates proving certain skills: Java, Spring, SQL, AWS or Azure Cloud, Angular, React.
• Experience in agile / scrum methodology.
• Experience in Auto (Motor) & Home LoB implementation using EIS.
• Good understanding of Agile methodology.
• Experience in client facing roles.
