Job summary

Johnson Matthey in Gliwice is seeking an Operational IT Service Manager to lead the delivery and governance of IT services across JM locations. You will develop teams, foster senior stakeholder relationships and drive service improvement to enhance resilience and business value.

You will oversee service transitions for major projects, manage supplier performance and budgets, and champion a strong, compliant ITSM culture within a global, industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in IT service management roles, leading service delivery and operations within a complex global organisation.
• Experience working in an ITIL-structured support organisation, with a strong understanding of service management practices, governance, risk and compliance.
• Practical experience using IT Service Desk and Service Management system tools to manage performance, incidents, requests and service reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery, governance and continuous improvement of IT services across multiple JM locations and business areas.
• Manage and develop Operational IT Service Managers and support teams to build consistent, high-performing service delivery.
• Build trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders and act as the primary escalation point for critical service issues.
• Drive service improvement programmes that strengthen customer experience, operational resilience, service quality and business value.
• Oversee service transition for major projects to support the effective introduction of new technologies and services into production.
• Manage supplier performance, service governance, compliance and operational budgets against agreed outcomes.
