Job summary

ERSG Ltd is seeking an Offshore Construction and Commissioning Automation & Telecom Discipline Lead for a 14/14 rotation offshore wind project in the Polish Baltic Sea. The role includes leading automation and telecom disciplines, coordinating contractors and ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering or technical qualification in automation or similar fields.
• Experience in automation and telecom construction and commissioning within offshore wind or offshore substations.
• Previous lead or senior supervisory experience.
• Ability to work offshore on a 14/14 rotation and meet Polish mobilisation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead offshore automation and telecom discipline at the OSS, ensuring safe execution according to design and project requirements.
• Coordinate follow-up of contractors and vendors, verify progress and quality, and escalate risks.
• Cover automation, SCADA, telecom, fibre-optic and industrial network systems and interfaces.
• Review work orders, work packs, commissioning procedures, RAMS, and verify prerequisites.
• Coordinate and witness mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, SAT, and end-to-end testing.
• Monitor completion status in ProCoSys or the applicable system and manage punch categorisation.
• Coordinate offshore fibre termination, patching, testing, and dependencies with control activities.
• Ensure clarifications and changes are assessed, authorised, recorded and tested.
• Maintain cooperation with contractor teams and ensure responsibilities are clear.
• Perform structured handover between rotation holders and participate in emergency response.
