Job summary

DS Smith Europe in Krakow is seeking a Category Manager, Logistics (Ocean Freight) to develop and execute category strategies, drive commercial procurement solutions, and deliver sustainable value across DS Smith's ocean freight spend within the Logistics Category Team.

Reporting to the Head of Logistics Procurement, you will lead supplier partnerships, tailor strategies with Packaging, Paper and Recycling, and push ESG-aligned cost improvements and service improvements across the end-to-end

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent by experience.
• Ideally 5 years relevant experience at the same or similar level.
• Fluency in English required.
• Experience in developing 1-3 year category strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for Ocean Freight.
• Lead procurement activities and supplier partnerships.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver cost savings and ESG goals.
• Manage supplier risk, contracting and governance.
