Memorial Health is seeking a New Graduate Registered Nurse for a full-time on-site Nurse Residency Program designed to transition new graduates into professional nurses. The program blends on-the-job and classroom education with mentorship and a capstone evidence-based project.

Eligible candidates must be licensed as an RN in Illinois and hold current BLS/CPR certification. A sign-on bonus up to $15,000 is offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Licensed as RN in State of Illinois.
• Current BLS/CPR certification per policy.
• Must be able to position/transfer an average adult patient and perform IV/IM procedures.
• Exposure to blood, bodily fluids and tissue; hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Delegate tasks and supervise unit staff as needed.
• Provide nursing care for designated patient group using the nursing process.
• Engage in the Nurse Residency Program and residency project.
• Contribute to evidence-based clinical practice and patient outcomes.
