Sii Sp. z o.o. in Piła is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to manage and support production network platforms across global data centers and POPs. You will drive lifecycle management, coordinate fleet-wide upgrades, and collaborate with vendors to ensure operational excellence.

The role offers remote work flexibility and requires strong English skills, plus hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper/Arista and core routing protocols. Ownership of lab validation and runbooks is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production network environment focusing on operational execution.
• Hands-on experience with networking platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, or Arista.
• Proficiency in core networking protocols, including BGP, OSPF/ISIS, and IPv4/IPv6.
• Solid understanding of large-scale network operations, including executing change operations and software upgrades.
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor escalations and coordinate support resolution.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

About the project

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Administrator to join our team, focusing on managing and supporting production network platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for lifecycle management across global Points of Presence (POPs), data centers, and backbone infrastructure. You will collaborate with network engineers and vendors to ensure operational excellence while executing network upgrade initiatives and maintaining network infrastructure. Your responsibilities

• Supporting lifecycle management for production network platforms, including hardware, software, firmware, and operating system versions across global POPs and data centers
• Planning, coordinating, and executing fleet-wide network upgrade initiatives, ensuring device qualification and readiness checks are performed
• Leading infrastructure rollout efforts across global POPs, data centers, and the backbone network
• Operating a dedicated lab and test environment to validate hardware platforms, configurations, and automation tooling
• Partnering with network engineers and vendors to investigate platform issues, manage support escalations, and document resolution paths
• Collaborating cross-functionally to support network scalability, compliance, and operational consistency
• Contributing to runbooks, process documentation, and operational procedures for network changes and lifecycle management activities

Our requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production network environment with a focus on operational execution
• Hands-on experience with networking platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, or Arista
• Proficiency in core networking protocols, including BGP, OSPF/ISIS, and IPv4/IPv6
• Solid understanding of large-scale network operations, including executing network change operations and software upgrades
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor escalations and coordinate support resolution
• Advanced level of English

• Strong organizational and execution skills with attention to detail
• Effective cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
• Scripting ability in Python or a similar language
• Familiarity with network automation tools such as Ansible
• Experience improving operational processes by reducing manual steps and increasing repeatability
