A leading yacht design firm in Poland is looking for a designer specializing in NAV-COM systems for superyachts. You will be responsible for designing electrical systems and coordinating with clients. Ideal candidates should have a higher technical education in relevant fields and experience in marine systems. Qualifications

• Experience in selecting components for NAV-COM and other ship electrical systems.
• Knowledge of marine navigation and communication equipment.
• Familiarity with preparing technical documentation and user manuals.

Responsibilities

• Designing NAV-COM and IT systems for superyachts.
• Conducting cross-disciplinary technical coordination.
• Preparing bill of materials and RFQs for supplies.

Skills

Job description

Your responsibilities

• Designing NAV-COM systems for superyachts
• Designing IT systems and intelligent control systems (Domotic) for superyachts
• Designing general ship electrical systems
• Conducting cross-disciplinary technical coordination with clients and system suppliers
• Selecting technical solutions and materials
• Preparing bill of materials (BOM)
• Preparing RFQs for system or component supply
• Verifying documentation of ordered systems and coordinating them with other yacht systems
• Preparing technical documentation, technical descriptions, and automation I/O lists
• Providing design supervision during yacht construction
• Participating in tests, trials, and technical inspections when required
• Preparing as-built documentation and user manuals

Qualifications

• Higher technical education (Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Marine Systems, or similar)
• Experience in an independent designer role for marine NAV-COM and other ship electrical systems
• Knowledge of marine navigation and communication equipment and other ship electrical systems
• Knowledge of PLC/HMI-based control systems
• Experience in selecting components for NAV-COM and other ship electrical systems
• Very good knowledge of AutoCAD, EPLAN, and MS Office
• Good command of English
