Job summary

Electrolux Group is seeking a Motor & Pumps Engineer to join our international product development team. You will design and develop motors and pumps for household appliances, collaborating with global suppliers and cross-functional colleagues to drive innovation from concept to production.

You will contribute to development, validation, and industrialization activities while ensuring adherence to Siemens Teamcenter or similar PLM workflows, safety standards, and project timelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience, ideally including electrical component development in an R&D environment.
  • Familiarity with induction and permanent magnet motors is a plus.
  • Understanding of product development, manufacturing processes, and safety aspects.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop motors and pumps for household appliances.
  • Manage approval documentation including drawings via PLM software.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external safety standards (IEC, CE, UL).
  • Support Projects Development as Team Member for motors and pumps.
  • Assist supplier development and component industrialization with technical support.
  • Support cost reduction and quality improvement projects for motors and pumps.

About the role

We are looking for a Motor & Pumps Engineer with a strong electrical background to join an international product development environment, characterized by close collaboration with global suppliers and cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

In your role you will support design and development of motors and pumps for household appliances such as washing machines, tumble dryers and dishwashers, including both existing products and new introductions, You will contribute to the development, validation, and industrialization phases, working in compliance with established company processes, procedures, and standards. The role involves ongoing interaction with international suppliers and with internal functions located worldwide, within a structured, collaborative, and continuous-improvement-driven environment.

In detail, you will
  • Design and develop motors and pumps for household appliances
  • Manage approval documentation including drawings (collection, analysis and issuing via PLM software)
  • Ensure compliance with both internal compliance standards and internal/external safety standards (IEC, CE, UL, etc.)
  • Support Projects Development as Team Member, responsible for development of motors and pumps
  • Support supplier development and component industrialization with supplier technical support
  • Support Cost Reduction and Quality Improvement projects for motors and pumps
Who you are
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 3 years of professional experience, ideally including electrical component development within an R&D environment
  • Knowledge of induction and permanent magnet motors is considered a plus
  • Understanding of overall product development, including functionality, manufacturing processes, and safety aspects, is an advantage
  • Familiarity with engineering design tools such as Dassault Catia and Siemens NX
  • Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter or similar) is a plus
  • Knowledge of Care products and the home appliance industry is an advantage
  • Familiarity with international safety standards for household appliances is a plus
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments
  • Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
Where you'll be

You will be based in our R&D Tech & Labs offices, located in Zarow, our dishwasher manufacturing plant. In our office, you will work together with hundreds of people from different functions and various nationalities, with the common goal of creating the technologies of the future.
