Job Description
- Configure, administer and troubleshoot Windows-based workstation environments across classified (Unclassified and Restricted) infrastructures
- Manage and resolve issues related to Windows Operating System configuration, stability and performance
- Troubleshoot workstation imaging processes, including PXE, Windows Preinstallation Environment (Windows PE) and task sequences
- Monitor, manage and troubleshoot deployment of Windows updates, upgrades and security patches
- Administer and maintain configuration baselines across enterprise workstations
- Support application packaging, testing, deployment and lifecycle management across the organization
- Create and maintain Windows configurations aligned with business and security requirements
- Monitor and ensure successful application deployment across end-user environments
- Manage and optimize Windows Operating System telemetry policies, configurations and reporting
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with telemetry and data protection policies
- Provide technical troubleshooting in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors (e.g. Microsoft)
- Test configurations on both physical and virtual workstations
- Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation, user guides and internal procedures
- Collaborate effectively within the workstation environment team and contribute to service improvements
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
- Microsoft Windows Endpoint Administrator (MD-102) or equivalent (Equivalent certifications must be internationally recognized and accepted)
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems in enterprise environments
- Strong experience troubleshooting Windows OS, workstation configurations and imaging processes
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, including Autopilot and Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM)
- Experience managing configuration baselines, telemetry and application deployments
- Practical scripting experience using PowerShell
- Experience working in large-scale IT environments with workstation monitoring
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work proactively, independently and within a team
- Good communication skills and user-oriented mindset
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies
- Experience in application lifecycle management and deployment processes
