Freelance Opportunity: Modern Endpoint Expert
Location: Warsaw, Poland (Hybrid)
Project Background
This role supports the end-to-end management of enterprise Windows endpoints across both Unclassified and Restricted environments. The objective is to ensure stable, secure, and scalable workstation operations, covering deployment, configuration, monitoring, and continuous optimization within a large organizational setup
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of Windows workstations, from initial build through ongoing maintenance and retirement
- Administrate and troubleshoot Windows systems operating in both standard and restricted environments
- Execute system imaging activities using technologies such as PXE and Windows
- PECoordinate and implement OS updates and feature rollouts
- Define, implement, and maintain configuration baselines
- Provide advanced support for Microsoft Intune, including Autopilot-related issues
- Manage Windows telemetry: setup, monitoring, analysis, and issue resolution
- Monitor endpoint performance and health across a large-scale device landscape
- Design and implement automation solutions using PowerShell
- Handle application lifecycle processes, including packaging, deployment, updates, and licensing compliance
- Validate configurations in both physical and virtual testing environments
- Work closely with internal ICT stakeholders and external Microsoft support teams
- Support cybersecurity processes, including incident handling related to endpoint telemetry
- Produce and maintain clear technical documentation (guidelines, procedures, manuals
Required Profile & Qualifications Education & Experience University degree
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in endpoint management or workplace engineering
Hands-on experience in large enterprise environme
Exposure to secured or restricted infrastructures is highly desirable
Technical Knowledge Mandatory:
- Certification in Microsoft Windows Endpoint Administration (or comparable qualification)
- Strong practical expertise in Windows OS administration and diagnostics
- Proven experience with OS deployment and imaging tools (PXE, Windows PE, task sequences
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Intune, including Endpoint Privilege Management and Autopilot)
- Experience with configuring and analyzing Windows telemetry
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
- Experience managing application packaging and deployment lifecycles
- Understanding of configuration baseline management
- Capability to manage and monitor large numbers of endpoints
- Strong analytical mindset with structured troubleshooting approach
- English level B2 (or higher, certification is a big plus)
- Familiarity with enterprise cybersecurity practices and collaboration models
- Experience interfacing with vendor support organizations (e.g. Microsoft)
- Ability to quickly adapt to evolving technologies and tools
- Previous exposure to complex, highly regulated environments
