Job summary

Zoolatech is seeking an experienced QA professional to own end-to-end testing for iOS and Android consumer apps. You will drive test strategies, collaborate with developers and product managers, and oversee release readiness across TestFlight, internal sharing, and production environments.

Responsibilities include creating and executing test plans, recording defects with detailed metadata, and guiding root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on QA for iOS and Android consumer apps.
• Strong understanding of mobile release trains and SDLC processes.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; proactive collaboration with developers and PMs.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end QA within a sprint: develop test strategies/plans, define scope and priority, estimate effort, track progress, unblock issues, and ensure on-time, high-quality releases.
• Plan and run test cycles across feature, integration, regression, and release certification (TestFlight/Internal App Sharing/production).
• Capture clear, reproducible defects with videos, logs and device metadata; drive root cause and resolution.
• Collaborate with developers & PMs to clarify requirements/acceptance criteria, risks, and success metrics.
• Perform network-aware testing (airplane mode, throttling, packet loss) with proxies and emulators.
• Lead release readiness activities: build verification, smoke/sanity checks, bug triage, go/no-go, post-mortems.
• Translate manual scenarios into automation tasks; work with SDETs on audits and coverage.
• Coordinate release-team testathons for major features; track findings and publish results.
• Partner with automation team on weekly regression cycles; review flaky tests and prioritize candidates.
• Perform memory profiling using Xcode Instruments and Android Studio Profiler; log performance bugs.
• Deliver weekly Quality Release Reports to Release Manager (coverage, defects, crash rate, SLA).
