Job summary

DL Remote is seeking a Mobile Platform Engineer to own the Flutter-based mobile app architecture in Berlin, with AI integration and strong DevOps experience. You will define robust architecture, optimize workflows, and collaborate across product, design, and backend teams.

You bring several years building production mobile apps with Flutter and Dart, plus hands-on CI/CD and app-store release experience, and a genuine interest in engineering AI systems within the platform.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience delivering production mobile apps with architectural responsibility.
• Extensive Dart and Flutter development experience across mobile platforms.
• Hands-on Mobile DevOps: CI/CD setup, app store deployment, release orchestration.
• Interest in integrating AI components into the engineering platform.
• Proactive in improving internal development processes and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own the mobile application's architectural integrity for scalability and performance.
• Develop shared components, libraries, and essential tooling to speed up mobile development.
• Promote best practices to ensure high-quality, productive engineering culture.
• Collaborate with AI teams to integrate AI models into the mobile platform.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers to support growth and learning.
• Work with product/design/backend teams to deliver cohesive user experiences.
• Identify and fix performance bottlenecks for a smooth user experience.
• Establish and enforce comprehensive testing protocols (unit/integration/UI).
