Job summary

Hozah is seeking a hands-on Mobile Service Engineer to manage maintenance of our car park infrastructure from Manchester southwards, ensuring uptime and coordinating subcontractors to keep sites operational.

You will regularly visit sites across the southern estate, including Cornwall, with some north coverage. A full UK driving licence is essential, and we offer flexible hours for long journeys, a company van, and hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Background in hands-on installation or field roles in CCTV/IoT, or related sectors.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors to hit deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and make on-the-spot decisions.
• Experience producing site documentation such as install maps.
• Comfortable working alone and following installation plans.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to site conditions.
• Based in the southern area (Manchester southwards) with travel across sites including Cornwall.
• Full, clean UK driving licence (essential).
• Basic knowledge of RAMS documentation.

Responsibilities

• Equipment maintenance: Maintain ANPR cameras, Pay & Display machines, tablets, signage and related gear.
• RAMS: Prepare and follow risk assessments and method statements on site.
• Signage & frontline maintenance: Install/replace signage and kiosk consumables while meeting safety standards.
• Issue resolution: Diagnose and resolve technical site issues to keep equipment functioning.
• Compliance & safety: Adhere to safe working procedures and guidelines.
• Site visits: Travel from Manchester southwards for scheduled site health checks.
• Proactive monitoring: Plan regular site visits and maintenance across southern estates.
• Subcontractor coordination: Manage on-site subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.
