  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for ad‑hoc MLOps requests, investigating production data anomalies and troubleshooting existing pipeline failures
  • Assist in the technical onboarding and system integration of third‑party platforms (e.g., Datavant)
  • Continuously identify opportunities to streamline data operations, cost optimization, and security workflows, feeding improvements back into team playbooks

GlobalLogic is seeking an MLOps Support Engineer to join a dedicated team supporting a sophisticated, regulated medical technology platform. This role focuses on the day‑to‑day operational backbone of the client’s data and machine learning infrastructure—working closely with Research, Clinical, and Engineering teams to unblock critical data workflows, investigate pipeline issues, and optimize cloud infrastructure.

You will manage routine data staging and extraction requests, execute cost‑optimization initiatives across AWS infrastructure, and help design secure, compliant workflows that allow contractors to safely support production‑adjacent work. You’ll also serve as a primary point of contact for ad‑hoc MLOps troubleshooting and support the integration of third‑party platforms. This is a hands‑on, execution‑focused role within a secure, multi‑region, regulated SaaS environment, requiring strong AWS operational skills, scripting proficiency, and a solid grasp of data security and compliance practices.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of proven experience in an MLOps, Data Engineering, or Cloud DevOps role
  • Strong, hands‑on operational experience with AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, Cost Explorer, cross‑region networking)

  • Solid experience with containerization (Docker) and workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Dagster)
  • Solid understanding of data security best practices, particularly RBAC, compliance, and handling sensitive/production‑level data safely
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate cross‑functional business needs from Clinical and Research teams into concrete technical execution
  • A proactive, problem‑solving mindset—comfortable operating within secure, established data environments and following existing playbooks while also improving them
