Hiberus in Poland is seeking a Junior IT Security Specialist (SOC1) to monitor IT security and respond to security events as part of the first-line SOC team.

You will analyze alerts from SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, and other tools, classify incidents, log and escalate tickets, and collaborate with IT and security colleagues, with on-call duties in the roster.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in IT Service Desk, IT administration, SOC, or Cybersecurity.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity, networking, and Windows/Linux systems.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and basic information security principles.
• Secondary technical education or higher education (IT/Cybersecurity-related fields preferred).
• English proficiency at B1 level or above.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, responsibility, and the ability to work according to established procedures.

In this role, you will be responsible for ongoing IT security monitoring and handling security events and incidents as part of the first-line SOC team.

Experience required

Previous experience in IT Service Desk, IT administration, SOC, or Cybersecurity,

Basic knowledge of cybersecurity, networking, and Windows/Linux systems,
