Minimum Requirements:

1. 5+ years of experience with IBM MQ administration and troubleshooting
2. Strong knowledge of MQ objects and their configuration
3. Proficiency in using MQSC for administrative tasks
4. Experience with monitoring tools and log file analysis for problem determination
5. Experience with SSL configuration (certificates management)
6. Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and automation tools
7. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
8. Familiarity with cloud integration and cluster expansion
9. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
10. Knowledge of additional messaging systems like Solace or Kafka is a plus
11. Ability to document processes and maintain system configurations accurately
12. Experience with MQ flows creation
13. Willingness to work with 24/7 on-call support
14. English proficiency at least B1 level
15. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
16. Certifications in IBM MQ or related technologies (preferred)
17. Experience with high availability MQ environments (e.g., RDQM)

21. Understanding of system reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance
22. Experience managing security requirements
23. Java programming experience (preferred)

Your Responsibilities:

1. Architect, design, and administer IBM MQ, including Pub/Sub and Advanced RDQM
2. Install, configure, and support IBM MQ environments (Development, Testing, Production)
3. Collaborate with application developers to design solutions using advanced messaging features
4. Monitor and test application performance, resolving bottlenecks
5. Design and maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
6. Provide 3rd level support and act as a technical leader
7. Liaise with vendors and IT personnel for problem resolution
8. Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment using tools like Ansible
9. Participate in on-call rotation
10. Configure MQ objects and perform log analysis
11. Check and set MQ Authorities
