Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Poland is seeking a MES Project Manager to lead a high‑impact re‑deployment across 16 production lines in a large manufacturing environment. You will manage a diverse mix of on‑site and remote IT/OT professionals to deliver factory capabilities.

The role requires 5–12+ years of PM experience in manufacturing IT/OT, PMP/PRINCE2, AVEVA MES, and a track record of plant go‑live deliveries. Hybrid work model with comprehensive training and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5–12+ years of experience managing manufacturing IT/OT programs, incl. MES/ERP/OT environments.
• Proven multi‑party delivery leadership with on‑site and remote teams and solid governance.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification with structured PM methods in industrial settings.
• Hands‑on AVEVA MES experience; familiarity with ISA‑95 and Purdue Model in CPG/FMCG.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end MES re‑deployment across 16 lines within scope, time and budget.
• Coordinate on‑site and remote MES staff, IT and OT technicians for collaboration.
• Maintain RAID logs, change control, milestones, and stakeholder reporting.
• Oversee shopfloor connectivity re‑implementation aligning IT/OT with production needs.
• Serve as primary client contact, manage expectations and escalations.

Your role

You will be joining a team of experienced manufacturing and technology experts, working on a high-impact MES re-deployment project for a global leader in personal hygiene products. As a MES Project Manager, you will lead a diverse team of on-site and remote specialists across IT and OT disciplines, driving the re-implementation of factory capabilities across 16 production lines. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in a complex, large-scale manufacturing environment.

Your tasks

• Leading the end-to-end re-deployment of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) across 16 production lines, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time and budget
• Managing and coordinating a mixed team of on-site and remote MES staff, IT and OT technicians, ensuring effective collaboration and clear communication across all workstreams
• Driving strong project governance through RAID logs, change control processes, milestone tracking and stakeholder reporting to ensure full transparency and control
• Overseeing shopfloor connectivity re-implementation, aligning IT and OT environments to meet production and business requirements
• Acting as the primary point of contact for the client, managing expectations, escalations and ensuring alignment between technical delivery and business goals
  
  
  

Your profile

• 5-12+ years of experience managing manufacturing IT/OT programs, including MES, ERP and OT environments, with a proven track record of plant go-live delivery
• Demonstrated experience in multi-party delivery leadership, managing diverse teams of both on-site and remote resources, with strong governance skills including RAID management, change control and milestone tracking
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification, with the ability to apply structured project management methodologies in a fast-paced industrial environment
• Hands-on experience with AVEVA MES platform, combined with a solid background in CPG/FMCG manufacturing environments and familiarity with ISA-95 standards and the Purdue Model
