Job summary

Jarugadesign is seeking an experienced Outfitting Engineer to join our naval architecture team on mega yacht projects. You will focus on outfitting systems, spatial integration, and detailed 2D/3D designs that align with luxury standards.

The role requires strong modeling skills in AutoCAD and Rhino, tight coordination with hull and interior teams, and adherence to classification society requirements. A proactive collaborator will thrive in our supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as an Outfitting Engineer in the maritime industry.
• Solid understanding of shipbuilding and outfitting standards, marine materials, and yard processes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; Rhino; Cadmatic Hull; MS Office.
• Fluent English for technical documentation and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• 2D outfitting drawings: develop initial layouts and conceptual schemes.
• 3D modeling and design: create detailed outfitting designs and equipment arrangements.
• Space coordination: manage spatial integration and clash detection.
• Compliance: meet yard capabilities, aesthetic standards and classification rules.
• Cross-team collaboration: work with hull designers, interior architects and engineers.
• Quality assurance: participate in design reviews and implement feedback.
