The Law Offices of James L. Arrasmith is seeking a California Medical Malpractice Attorney to help grow this practice area in a remote full-time role. You will evaluate malpractice claims, review medical records, and coordinate with experts to move cases toward resolution.

Ideal candidates have active California bar eligibility, strong litigation experience, and the ability to lead and manage casework while mentoring paralegals and staff in a growing practice.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license required.
• Medical malpractice experience strongly preferred.
• Strong civil litigation experience.
• Experience working with medical records and experts.
• Good writing, communication, organization and case management.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate medical malpractice claims.

The Law Offices of James L. Arrasmith is looking for a California Medical Malpractice Attorney to help grow this practice area.

We are looking for someone who knows how to evaluate medical malpractice cases, review medical records, work with experts, and move cases forward.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Review and evaluate medical malpractice claims

Analyze medical records, treatment history, liability, causation, and damages

Work with medical experts and consultants

Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence

Handle depositions, hearings, mediations, and settlement discussions

Manage case deadlines and help prepare cases for trial

Support and guide paralegals and legal staff working on these matters

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Active California Bar license required

Medical malpractice experience strongly preferred

Strong civil litigation experience

Experience working with medical records and experts

Good writing, communication, organization, and case management skills

Ability to move cases forward and help build this practice area
