Overview

Product Design Studio's Competence Center is looking for a Mechanical Test Lead to join our team and perform tasks for a client in the dairy industry. The person in this position will participate in the verification and validation of new products and their interfaces, with a particular focus on mechanical testing of components and systems. We are looking for an engineer who is eager to be involved in defining test strategies, analyzing problems and implementing effective solutions. The job is based on a hybrid model from the client's office in Wroclaw (3 days a week in the office).

Responsibilities
  • Responsibility for testing prototype solutions (milking, feeding, cooling, etc.), mainly for mechanical parameters
  • Preparing and conducting tests of components such as valves, actuators or sensors
  • Creating test documentation: test cases, test runs, test plans, test specifications and test reports
  • Determine test strategy: which test cases/series are needed, in what order
  • Support and troubleshoot field installations
  • Analysis of problems detected during verification
Requirements
  • Work experience in a similar position
  • University degree in mechanical or mechatronics engineering
  • Practical knowledge of mechanical testing in an R&D environment
  • Knowledge of various types of valves, sensors and actuators
  • Knowledge of products consisting of PLC control systems and familiarity with LabVIEW visual programming language is welcome
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Residence in Poland required
  • Open to working hybrid from client's office in Wroclaw (3 days a week)
