Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Lodz invites a Mechanical Designer to join our Global Engineering Center. You will create and update 3D models and 2D drawings, ensure documentation meets customer specs, and contribute to on-time delivery.

We seek a degree in mechanical/related fields with CAD proficiency (Creo/SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Inventor), strong English, and a collaborative, deadline-focused mindset. Hybrid work offers diverse engineering challenges and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Relevant experience in mechanical design using CAD tools (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor).
• Good command of English (daily work in an international environment).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Independence, responsibility, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Teamwork skills and good time management.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design of transformer components and preparation of technical documentation in accordance with customer specifications.
• Creating and modifying 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD tools.
• Managing assigned project execution and ensuring timely delivery of engineering solutions.
• Optimizing technical solutions within ongoing orders, considering both mechanical and electrical requirements.
• Collaborating with an international engineering team, manufacturing, and other stakeholders.
• Participating in project meetings and technical consultations.
• Supporting the implementation of new engineering solutions, technologies, and design improvements.
