Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new CAST materials (CAST= Coating, Adhesives, Sealants and Tape)
  • Conduct production tests including molding, finishing, or extrusion
  • Lead and validate material and innovation projects; manage materials in systems.
  • Standardize materials; provide project leadership aligned with management goals.
  • Participate in new program development; perform global CAST Materials cost analysis.
  • Analyze data for quality and warranty issues; recommend solutions and improvements & interface with customers and suppliers.
  • Supervise junior team members; manage equipment.
Education And Qualifications
  • Prefer Master\'s or PhD in Polymer Science & Engineering or related fields.
  • Bachelor\'s degree holders require 5+ years in material sciences.
  • At least 5 years\' experience in manufacturing; strong multitasking and team skills.
  • Independent work ability; proficiency in chemistry, statistics and mechanical concepts.
  • Project management and ISO/TS 16949 standards knowledge; database and tool proficiency.
  • Professional English proficiency; additional languages and communication skills beneficial.
Work Environment/Conditions
  • Professional office setting with occasional need for personal protective gear.
  • Some travel to manufacturing sites or customer offices.
  • Must be properly trained on equipment for safety reasons.
