Key Responsibilities
- Develop new CAST materials (CAST= Coating, Adhesives, Sealants and Tape)
- Conduct production tests including molding, finishing, or extrusion
- Lead and validate material and innovation projects; manage materials in systems.
- Standardize materials; provide project leadership aligned with management goals.
- Participate in new program development; perform global CAST Materials cost analysis.
- Analyze data for quality and warranty issues; recommend solutions and improvements & interface with customers and suppliers.
- Supervise junior team members; manage equipment.
Education And Qualifications
- Prefer Master\'s or PhD in Polymer Science & Engineering or related fields.
- Bachelor\'s degree holders require 5+ years in material sciences.
- At least 5 years\' experience in manufacturing; strong multitasking and team skills.
- Independent work ability; proficiency in chemistry, statistics and mechanical concepts.
- Project management and ISO/TS 16949 standards knowledge; database and tool proficiency.
- Professional English proficiency; additional languages and communication skills beneficial.
Work Environment/Conditions
- Professional office setting with occasional need for personal protective gear.
- Some travel to manufacturing sites or customer offices.
- Must be properly trained on equipment for safety reasons.
