Job summary

Lyten, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Material Controlling Specialist in Gdańsk to manage production order data, ensure traceability, and enforce accurate ERP transactions on the shop floor. You will work with Production, Planning, and Warehouse teams to prevent discrepancies and optimize inventory processes.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing logistics or material control, plus ERP experience. Polish fluency is essential; English is a plus in cross-border collaboration.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with material control in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven ability to reconcile material transactions and ensure traceability.
• ERP experience including data accuracy and cycle counts.
• Polish fluency; English advantageous for international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own the accuracy of production order data from opening to closing.
• Reconcile material consumption between ERP and shop floor; investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure full traceability of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Verify accuracy of finished goods reporting at end of shift.
• Monitor shortages and excess stock; coordinate corrective actions with Production, Planning, and Warehouse teams.
• Enforce scan & move discipline across production areas and improve material movement controls.
• Perform regular physical-to-system inventory checks and initiate corrective actions.
• Verify scrap transactions and ensure proper scrapping processes.
• Support material movements related to rework activities.
• Conduct material loss analyses and identify root causes of variances.
• Support KPI reporting for production and material accuracy.
• Act as SME for material control and ERP-related material transactions on shop floor.
• Support periodic and annual physical counts.
• Design and implement controls and improvements to increase data accuracy.
