Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market research on pricing trends, competitor offerings, customer segments, and product landscapes.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to identify market opportunities and support strategic initiatives.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve internal databases and market intelligence tools.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations, internally to the Commercial Team, and externally to the Sales Team and Executive Leadership, to inform pricing and commercial strategies.
- Perform cost and profitability analyses and evaluate commercial performance across products, services, and customer segments. Develop financial models and business case analyses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align market research findings with business objectives.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging market dynamics to support proactive decision-making.
- Analyze financial performance of existing customers to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Use internal databases to get information about customers' usage, traffic details, cost information, and profitability.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, and account management teams to provide insights on customer profitability and retention.
- Assist in developing pricing strategies and contract evaluations based on customer financial data.
- Maintain and enhance financial models used to evaluate customer portfolios.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on financial analysis to improve customer value and business outcomes.
Requirements
Must Have
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, business analysis, and/or market research role.
- Experience in conducting market research, competitive analysis, and industry trend assessments.
- Familiarity with different data sources and market intelligence platforms.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to navigate data ambiguity by conducting swift research and making precise, well-informed assumptions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with sales team, senior management, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to work fully independently.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- SQL / Power BI / other data analysis experience.
