As a Manual Functional Tester, you will:

• Execute manual functional tests based on requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation
• Log, track, and validate defects using the company’s issue tracking system (e.g., Jira)
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA colleagues to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives)
• Learn and apply test automation with Playwright under mentorship and guidance
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and practices

An ideal candidate would have:

• 1–3 years of experience in manual functional testing of web or mobile applications.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
• Experience with bug reporting and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and communication skills
• Good written and spoken English

Nice to have:

• ISTQB Foundation Level certification
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript or other programming/scripting languages
• Familiarity with test automation concepts or frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
  
• Understanding of API testing (Postman, Newman, etc.)
• Motivation to upskill in Playwright and automation best practices

The recruitment process for the Manual Functional Tester position has the following steps:
