Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Warsaw, Poland, is seeking a Manager of Reverse Logistics & Operations to lead the strategic development of returns, damage and defective programs, and vendor claims across the DC RTV and CSC teams.

This role collaborates with Logistics, Merchandising, Planning & Allocations, Store Operations, Ecommerce, Inventory Control, Loss Prevention, Finance and Legal to drive improvements and supervise the Returns team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5-7 years of experience in Supply Chain.
• Management experience preferred.
• Experience with reverse logistics preferred.
• Experience with contractual negotiations preferred.
• Ability to drive projects and manage project teams.
• Process and procedure oriented with superior organizational abilities.

OVERVIEW:

The Manager of Reverse Logistics & Operations will be responsible for the strategic development of the company’s returns, damage and defective programs, and vendor claims, as well as the Reverse Logistics system used by the DC RTV teams and various CSC teams. This individual will manage and work collaboratively with other internal DSG departments that manage Returns to Vendors, to include Logistics, Merchandising, Planning & Allocations, Store Operations, Ecommerce, Inventory Control, Loss Prevention, Finance and Legal Teams. This position will provide supervision and operational guidance to the tactical processes of the Returns team on vendor claims, damage/defective products and return to stock(allocation claims). The Manager of Reverse Logistics and Operations will work with our Domestic Vendors, salvage partners. Merchants, Inventory Control, Loss Prevention, Product Development, Risk and Distribution Center Teams to drive operational improvements and communication for all Dick’s Sporting Goods initiatives. This teammate will work with CSC and DC IT teams to prioritize and drive enhancements of various reverse and Business Intelligence systems to improve efficiency at the CSC and DCs and maintain open communication on various projects related to vendors and DC operations for the improvement of supply chain initiatives.
