Job description

Are you a results-driven engineering professional with leadership experience in machinery construction and automation? Join us to advance modern production technologies through innovation, collaboration and a commitment to technical excellence.

Your responsibilities

• Ensuring high-quality, timely, and cost-effective execution of machine designs (objectives), from design and configuration assumptions to successful commissioning both at the plant and at the customer's site.
• Leading three teams (R&D, including automation, purchasing and logistics for machine construction, assembly, and machine service), with up to 20 employees and promoting a high-performance culture through cross-functional collaboration, employee engagement, and empowerment
• Maintaining communication within the team and all (site) internal and external interfaces
• Playing a key role in the standardization and continuous optimization of processes and team efficiency
• Participation in tenders, offers, and complex projects from project start to delivery, in cooperation with construction/automation
• Supporting the quality and functional development - in cooperation with other RYCHIGER (engineering) locations - of machines manufactured, seeking more reliable solutions, and initiating solutions suggested by customers during machine commissioning and service based on their operational experience.
• Ensuring service support for existing machines, in coordination with the timely installation of new machines and in cooperation with the Rychiger AG Service Department.

Why you will succeed

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in System, Process, or Production Engineering (or Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering)
• Several years of leadership experience in machinery construction and/or the industrial equipment sector (engineering and manufacturing)
• Experience in Transfer of Production (ToP) to Poland or other Eastern European locations considered a strong advantage; experience in Transfer of Engineering (ToE) is a plus
• Fluent in Polish and English; German is a nice-to-have
• Highly independent and committed working style, networked and conceptual thinking skills
• Excellent communication skills and a sense of responsibility
• Experience in planning, implementing, and managing projects

What you can expect

Rychiger Poland designs, manufactures, assembles, and tests machinery and equipment.

About 60-70% of our production consists of short-run machine parts manufactured on CNC machines, including heat and thermochemical treatment and coating. We also process iron and steel forgings and castings, aluminum, hardened materials, and tool steels. Our main industries include machinery and automated production lines, energy (steam and gas turbine components), oil exploration equipment components, and automotive components.
